Priya Marathe was a familiar face on Indian television. Hailing from Thane, Maharashtra, she was born on April 23, 1987, and dedicated 20 years of her life to the entertainment industry.

Priya Marathe completed her schooling and college in Mumbai. After her studies, she ventured into acting, debuting in 2005 with the Marathi serial 'Ya Sukhano Ya'. However, she gained recognition with 'Char Divas Sasuche'.

Priya Marathe's first Hindi show, 'Kasam Se', began airing in 2008. She later appeared in prominent roles in serials like 'Pavitra Rishta', 'Uttaran', 'Bade Achhe Lagte Hain', 'Bharat Ka Veer Putra: Maharana Pratap', and 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya'. In 'Pavitra Rishta', she played the role of Ankita Lokhande's sister.

Priya Marathe made her Bollywood debut in 2008 with the film 'Humne Jeena Seekh Liya', directed and written by Milind Ukey.
