Supply Minister Reviews Goods Availability, Market Regulation With Holding Company, Subsidiary Leaders
Farouk stressed that the Ministry places strong emphasis on supporting its subsidiaries and enhancing their role in maintaining the stability of the market. He directed that efforts be intensified to boost the efficiency of the distribution network, increase daily supply volumes of food products to consumer complexes and wholesale outlets, and expand the offering of high-quality essential goods at affordable prices.
He highlighted the need for sustained coordination between the Holding Company and its subsidiaries to enable rapid intervention in response to any emerging market challenges. Farouk also called for the modernization of internal monitoring systems and the adoption of advanced technological solutions to strengthen oversight and improve the distribution process.
Additionally, the Minister instructed that regular meetings be held with leaders of the Holding Company and its subsidiaries to closely monitor operational performance and enable timely decision-making. These efforts aim to reinforce market discipline, enhance performance standards, and ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality services to citizens.
Farouk affirmed the Ministry's commitment to a proactive and responsive supply chain system capable of adapting to market needs, protecting consumers, and supporting national food security goals.
