Travis Scott Faces Backlash Over Short, Underwhelming Turkey Concert Debut

(MENAFN) US rapper Travis Scott has come under heavy criticism following his first-ever performance in Türkiye on Sunday, with many attendees expressing disappointment over the show’s length and limited engagement with the audience.

The concert, held at Tersane Istanbul, had been highly anticipated for months and drew thousands of fans eager to see the artist perform live.

However, according to reports and audience accounts, the event fell short of expectations despite high ticket prices. Concertgoers said Scott appeared on stage nearly an hour later than scheduled.

Attendees further stated that the performance lasted roughly 20 minutes, significantly shorter than expected, which led to frustration among parts of the crowd.

Footage and reactions circulating on social media showed sections of the audience booing after the brief set ended.

Some fans also took issue with the performer’s stage presence, noting that he appeared with much of his face covered by clothing and accessories, which they felt reduced audience connection during the show.
