Thundery Rain Expected In Some Areas In Qatar On Saturday

Doha, Qatar: Local clouds and thundery rain are forecasted this weekend, according to the latest weather update by Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD).

Hot weather conditions will continue during daytime, however, local clouds are also likely and may herald rain in some areas in the country.

On Saturday, thundery rain is expected at some places during daytime along with strong winds and poor horizontal visibility.

The department also warned of blowing dust on Friday, August 8 and Saturday, August 9.

Sea heights on Friday will range from 2-4ft rising to 6ft at times. Meanwhile, on Saturday, it will range from 2-5ft.

Temperatures this weekend are expected to range between 34°C and 43°C.
