India’s total exports merchandise, services reach billions
(MENAFN) India’s total exports of merchandise and services during the first quarter of 2025 reached an estimated $210.31 billion, marking a 5.94% year-on-year growth, according to data released by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
Merchandise exports amounted to $112.17 billion, growing 1.92% compared to the same period last year.
Non-petroleum exports increased by 5.97% to $94.77 billion.
The growth was driven largely by strong performances in sectors such as electronic goods, pharmaceuticals, engineering products, marine products, and meat, dairy, and poultry.
Notably, exports of electronic goods surged 46.93%, reaching $4.15 billion in June 2025 compared to June 2024.
