(MENAFN- UkrinForm) As reported by Ukrinform, the DIU confirmed the meeting.

The agency noted that thanks to Fritt Ukraina (Free Ukraine), Ukrainian defenders have already received around 660 vehicles, more than 4,600 drones, and thousands of communication devices, computers, generators, and other equipment needed for combat missions - with total aid exceeding €40 million.

The foundation delivers critical equipment directly to combat zones. Frølich has repeatedly visited and worked with Ukrainian units on the front lines.

“The scale of support we receive from Fritt Ukraina shows that the democratic world understands the challenges posed by Russian aggression. We greatly value this solidarity. By strengthening Ukraine, you are strengthening the security of all Europe,” Budanov emphasized.

The DIU CHief stressed the importance of continuing active cooperation, especially in supporting special units and investing in promising defense and scientific projects.

“We have supported the DIU since the beginning of the full-scale invasion and have already delivered hundreds of vehicles and drones to combat units, including Kraken,” Frølich said.

He added that cooperation between Ukrainian defense intelligence and Norwegian partners is at a high level, and that Fritt Ukraina continues to seek new funding avenues to supply Ukrainian intelligence forces with everything they need.

Major General Vadym Skibitskyi outlined the key challenges facing European countries amid ongoing Russian aggression.

“The Kremlin is preparing for a potential war with NATO by the 2030s and plans to spend nearly $1.1 trillion on preparations from 2027 to 2036. This is the largest rearmament program in the Russian Federation since the collapse of the Soviet Union,” Skibitskyi stated.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, the music group Palindrom donated 1.526 million UAH to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine for the purchase of Magura V7 sea drones and special ops gear.
