(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA))
KUWAIT, June 30 (KUNA) -- The Kuwait Awqaf Public Foundation (KAPF) announced on Monday the launch of its new electronic endowment service, "E-Waqf," via Sahel application.
In a statement to KUNA, KAPF Acting Secretary-General Amal Al-Dallal, said the service is designed to enable all endowment procedures electronically in a secure and user-friendly manner.
Al-Dallal affirmed that the foundation continues to advance its digital transformation strategy and institutional performance development in line with the goals of Kuwait Vision 2035, which aims to position Kuwait as a regional and international financial and commercial hub.
She noted that the integration of digital technologies across various aspects of government operations and community services represents a vital step toward enhancing operational efficiency, transparency, and public trust. These initiatives, she added, support national objectives related to sustainable development and the transition toward a smart and interconnected government.
Al-Dallal also announced the launch of a direct digital integration with the Ministry of Justice, enabling KAPF to send and receive official inquiries and responses electronically concerning the validity of endowment deeds. This is carried out in coordination with the Departments of Sharia Documentation and Real Estate Registration.
Moreover, she revealed the introduction of a new service for real-time tracking of endowers' status, made possible through direct integration with the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI), allowing for regular and automated updates to the endowers' database. (end)
