Ukrainian Intelligence Hits Key Russian Air Defenses In Crimea

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) As reported by Ukrinform, the DIU announced the operation on Facebook and released a video of the strike.

“The drones of the DIU's Prymary special unit continue to systematically weaken Russian air defenses in temporarily occupied Crimea,” the statement reads.

The DIU specified that the footage shows combat operations targeting critical and expensive components of the S-400 Triumf air defense system.

Targets hit by the Ukrainian intelligence drones included: two 92N2E multifunctional radar systems; two 91N6E detection radar stations; one S-400 missile launcher.

“Radars are the 'eyes' of the enemy's air defense system. Without them, these missile systems are rendered inoperable,” the DIU noted.
