Heineken UK Appoints Blurred For Social Impact Brief


(MENAFN- PRovoke) LONDON - Strategic and creative communications consultancy Blurred has been appointed by Heineken UK to work on its corporate social impact strategy, after a competitive pitch.

Blurred will provide strategic consultancy and campaign planning services, helping the pub, cider and beer business to assess and refine its approach to social impact. The aim is to create a programme that can deliver meaningful, positive impact for Heineken's customers, consumers and communities across the UK.

As well as producing beer brands including Amstel, Birra Moretti, Sol, Foster's, Murphy's Irish Stout and John Smith's, and cider brands Bulmers, Inch's, Strongbow and Old Mout, Heineken owns more than 2,000 pubs, which will play a key role in the eventual programme roll out.

The consultancy will be working with Heineken UK's corporate affairs director James Crampton, head of sustainability Emmaline Rogers, and head of media Joanna Dring. Crampton said:“Blurred was unusual in combining the depth of skills required for this complex brief, but we felt that they instantly just got it. I'm looking forward to working in partnership to design and deliver something that has a lasting positive effect.”
