GOI And Haryana Govt Discuss Ease Of Doing Business With Industrial Associations


(MENAFN- KNN India) Chandigarh, Mar 22 (KNN) The Government of India and the Haryana Government jointly organised a high-level meeting in Chandigarh with industrial associations to discuss the Ease of Doing Business in the state.

From Gurgaon, the Udyog Vihar Industrial Association (UVIA) was the sole representative at the meeting.

UVIA highlighted key challenges faced by industries, particularly in Udyog Vihar, including the poor maintenance of industrial areas, the involvement of multiple agencies such as MCG, GMDA, and HSIIDC, the lack of a streamlined grievance handling mechanism, difficulties in obtaining water NOCs, and parking issues.

The concerns raised by UVIA were well received by the Principal Secretary, Industry, Haryana, who acknowledged the challenges and assured that steps would be taken to improve the situation.

The industry representatives expressed hope that tangible improvements in infrastructure and governance would be seen in the near future.

Senior IAS officers from both the central and state governments attended the session to address industry-related concerns.

This meeting reflects the government's commitment to enhancing the business environment and facilitating industrial growth in Haryana.
