Road crash leads to 4 deaths in Southern Afghanistan


(MENAFN) A vehicle accident in Kandahar province, southern Afghanistan, resulted in the deaths of four passengers on Wednesday, according to a local report.

The collision occurred when a fielder vehicle crashed into fuel tankers on the suburbs of Daman district, instantly killing all four commuters on board, reported Mullah Nasruddin Bashir, the provincial Police chief.

Eleven individuals were wounded in a separate mishap, when their automobile Swerved off the road and tumbled into a ditch, struggling with the tough terrain of the mountainous Doab district in eastern Nuristan province.

Afghanistan experiences many road accidents, primarily caused by inadequate road conditions, careless driving, tough landscapes, exceeding the speed limit, overtaking, and overburdening.
