FM Abdulatti: Egypt Keen On Supporting UNDP In Reconstructing Gaza

CAIRO, March 15 (KUNA) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Dr. Badr Abdulatti expressed his keenness to support the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in executing the Arab plan for the reconstruction of Gaza.
This came in during a meeting held by Abdulatti with the UN Assistant Secretary General and Director of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Regional Bureau for Arab States, Abdullah Al-Dardari, said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Tamim Khallaf.
He added that Abdulatti was keen to learn what the program can provide to support the Cairo Ministerial Conference for the reconstruction of Gaza, which will be organized jointly by the UN, and the Palestinian government.
Abdulatti stressed Egypt's commitment to supporting the UN in promoting sustainable development in the Arab region, as Egypt is a key partner in implementing these efforts to ensure positive results on the ground. (end)
