Qatar Participates In Preparatory Ministerial Meeting For Summit

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar participated in the preparatory ministerial meeting for the extraordinary session of the Arab League Council, on the developments in the Palestinian issue, which was held Monday in Cairo.
HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh al-Khulaifi led Qatar delegation at the meeting.
During the meeting, HE al-Khulaifi reiterated Qatar's firm stance on the Palestinian cause and its support for the fraternal Palestinian people to obtain their legitimate rights, foremost of which is the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
This Extraordinary Summit comes in light of the difficult circumstances experienced by the people of Gaza, the ongoing violations against the Palestinian brethren, and the importance of standing by them and rejecting all attempts to undermine their fundamental rights.
