Ladakh, which has received Rs 876 crore, is focusing its investments on improving electricity transmission and last-mile connectivity, particularly in remote and high-altitude areas.

A significant portion of this funding is also being directed toward renewable energy projects, leveraging Ladakh's potential in solar and hydropower generation.

The financial support under these schemes is part of the government's broader strategy to enhance electricity availability, reduce losses, and improve the efficiency of the power sector in both Union Territories.

However, the Lok Sabha response did not specify the exact timelines for project completion or provide an update on the progress of implementation.
