King Abdullah II Was Clear:“No To The Displacement Of Palestinians”


(MENAFN- Amman Net) In a meeting between King Abdullah II and US President Donald trump at the White House on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, King Abdullah II clearly affirmed Jordan's firm position rejecting the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank. This position comes in the context of a unified Arab rejection of any attempts aimed at transferring or displacing the Palestinian population from their lands.

During the meeting, the King stressed that the priority should be to rebuild Gaza without displacing its population, and to address the difficult humanitarian situation in the Strip. He also stressed that a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution is the only way to achieve stability in the region. He praised President Trump's role in reaching a ceasefire in Gaza, expressing his aspiration for continued efforts by the US and all parties to consolidate this ceasefire.

Later, the King confirmed in a tweet on the x website 'I reiterated Jordan's firm position against the displacement of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. This is the unified Arab position. Everyone's priority should be to rebuild Gaza without displacing its people, and to deal with the difficult humanitarian situation in the Strip.”
