War Update: 85 Skirmishes Between Ukrainian And Russian Forces In Past Day

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Eighty-five combat clashes were recorded between Ukrainian forces and Russian invaders on February 4.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian armed forces said this in its 08:00 war update on Wednesday, February 5, Ukrinform reports.

On February 4, Russian forces launched two missile strikes and 76 airstrikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including two missiles and 124 guided aerial bombs (KABs).

Additionally, the enemy conducted over 5,300 shelling attacks, including 81 from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), and deployed 2,711 kamikaze drones for strikes.

Russian aircraft targeted multiple locations, including Udy, Saltyne, Kozacha Lopan, Kostiantynivka, Kostiantynopil, Vilne Pole, Burlatske, Andriivka, Udachne, Huliaipole, Novopil, Orikhiv, and Kherson.

In response, Ukrainian missile and artillery forces struck six enemy troop and equipment concentrations, two artillery systems, and one electronic warfare station.

In the Kharkiv sector, Russian forces launched a single assault near Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk sector, seven enemy attacks were repelled near Zahryzove, Petropavlivka, Lozova, and Novoosynove.

In the Lyman sector, two enemy assaults were recorded near Yampolivka and Dibrova.

In the Kramatorsk sector, six Russian attacks were recorded near Stupochky, Predtechyne, and Chasiv Yar.

In the Toretsk sector, ten enemy assaults occurred near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 35 Russian attacks near Kalynove, Myroliubivka, Promin, Kotlyne, Udachne, Uspenivka, Andriivka, and Dachne.

In the Novopavlivka sector, two Russian assaults were stopped near Rozlyv and Zelenivka.

In the Huliaipole sector, three enemy attacks were repelled near Novosilka.

In the Orikhiv sector, two Russian assaults were stopped near Novodanylivka and Mala Tokmachka.

In the Siversk and Dnipro River sectors, the enemy did not conduct active operations.

Twelve combat clashes occurred in the Kursk sector. Russian forces launched 46 airstrikes, dropping 67 guided bombs, and conducted 378 artillery attacks, including five MLRS strikes.

No signs of enemy offensive group formations were detected in the Volyn and Polissia sectors.
