Doha To Reopen Embassy In Syria Soon

DOHA, Dec 11 (KUNA) -- Qatar is going to reopen its embassy in Syria soon once relevant necessary arrangements have been completed, Adviser to the Qatari Prime Minister and Spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry Majid Al-Ansari announced on Wednesday.
This step aims to promote the close fraternal relations between both countries and their peoples, and reflects Qatar's unwavering support for the Syrian people, who are striving to build their state on the bases of justice, peace, stability and prosperity, Al-Ansari told the country's official news agency.
He added that the reopening of the embassy would enhance coordination with relevant authorities to facilitate the flow of humanitarian aid provided by Qatar via the air bridge to the Syrian people. (end)
