China: Philippine Ships Violaters Territorial Waters

BEIJING, Dec 4 (KUNA) -- China on Wednesday declared that four Philippine ships attempted to violate territorial waters around the island of Huangyan in the South China Sea leading to a collission with a Chinese vessel.
A spokesman of the Chinese coast guards said one of the three infringing ships approached in a dangerous and non-pRofessional manner the Chinese ship that was on routine patrol in the region.
The Chinese side took precuations according "to the standing laws" to reign in the Philippine ship, he said.
The two nations have often engaged in such frictions in the contested waters. (end)
