Azerbaijani Health Ministry Debates Monkeypox Prevention Measures

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 5. According to the
order of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of
Azerbaijan, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Health with the
participation of authorized representatives of the Ministry of
Digital Development and Transportation, State Border Service, State
Customs Committee, State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance,
Territorial Medical Units Management Association (TABİB),
Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC, and Baku International Sea Trade Port,
Trend reports,
referring to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Health.
The meeting covered the action plan that was prepared to coordinate the efforts of relevant structures for the upcoming international event, COP29, scheduled to take place in Azerbaijan this November.
Furthermore, considering the rapid spread of monkeypox in many nations, preventive measures on the country's territory were prioritized
