Intelligence Monitors Enemy's Construction Of Fortifications Near Mariupol - Yusov

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Russian occupation forces are intensively building fortifications near Mariupol, and Ukrainian intelligence is monitoring this.

Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, told Ukrinform in a commentary.

"They are systematically working on fortifications everywhere and preparing for various scenarios of the Security and Defence Forces, this is clear, and we are monitoring it," Yusov said.

Asked whether this means the enemy is preparing to repel the Defence Forces' offensive, the spokesman said: "To such a scenario as well."

As reported, the Russian invaders are turning Mariupol and the surrounding villages into their military and logistics hub.
