Top NATO general says that Ukraine has outstanding conflict plan

(MENAFN) General Christopher Cavoli, the chief of NATO’s European Command, has lauded Ukraine’s military strategy despite the country’s ongoing losses on the frontlines. Speaking at the Aspen Security Forum in Colorado, Cavoli characterized these setbacks as a strategic move to build up force for a forthcoming offensive. He commended Kiev’s approach to balancing recruitment, training, and arms procurement as highly effective.

Cavoli explained that modern warfare often involves either a swift victory or a prolonged, unpredictable conflict, which is the current reality in Ukraine. He emphasized that the key to success lies in a nation’s ability to generate and deploy force quickly, a strategy Ukraine has been pursuing effectively in recent months. According to Cavoli, Ukraine’s strategy is strong and it is now a matter of continuing its execution. He praised Kiev’s recent mobilization efforts and noted that Western weapon deliveries are progressing well.
