Three Injured, Following Mine Explosion In Azerbaijan's Kalbajar


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 19. A mine incident occurred in Azerbaijan's Kalbajar, three people were injured, the Prosecutor General's Office of, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense and the Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) said, Trend reports.

Thus, on July 19, a mine incident occurred in the area of ​​the village of Agdaban, Kalbajar region, in an area that had not been cleared of mines.

As a result of the incident, Huseynov Khalifa, born 1969, was blown up by an anti-personnel mine and received injuries, and Mamedov Samandar Aligama oglu, born 1978, who was moving behind him, received shrapnel wounds as a result of the explosion of this mine

Garashov Rakhim, born 1976, who later went to help them at the scene of the incident, received injuries of varying severity as a result of the explosion of the second mine.

An investigation into this fact is underway at the Kalbajar district prosecutor's office.
