Kuwaiti, Russian Fms Meets In New York

NEW YORK, July 16 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya met on Tuesday with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on the sidelines of the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development.
Both sides discussed the friendly relations in various areas as well as regional and international issues of common concern, including Ukraine crisis, the tragic situation in Gaza Strip and latest developments of the situation in the Middle East.
The political forum is being held at the UN General Assembly in New York under auspices of UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) between July 15 and 17. (end)
