President Of Uzbekistan Leaves For Working Visit To Azerbaijan


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, July 5. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev left for Azerbaijan on a working visit to participate in the informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), the statement of the press service of the President of Uzbekistan said, Trend reports.

"The agenda of the extraordinary meeting of the Council of Heads of State, which will be held under the theme "Building a sustainable future through transport interconnectivity and combating climate change", includes issues of further deepening regional cooperation in trade-economic, transport-communication, and investment-financial spheres, as well as in the fields of "green" economy, renewable energy, combating climate change, and human capital development," the statement of the press service reads.

To note, an unofficial summit of the OTS will be held in Shusha on July 6. It will serve as a platform for high-level discussion of key issues and the agenda of the organization.

Furthermore, at the end of the meeting, it is expected to sign the Karabakh Declaration and some other important documents.
