Occupation confesses murder of officer, soldiers in battles in Gaza

(MENAFN) On Wednesday night, the Israeli Occupation army confirmed the deaths of a captain and a group commander from the 75th Battalion. Additionally, three soldiers were seriously injured during fierce battles in the northern Gaza Strip. These fatalities, reported by Hebrew sources, underscore the severe clashes between Israeli forces and Gaza's resistance fighters.

Among the fallen was Private Eli Logsi, a resident of Kiryat Shmona. The municipality confirmed his death, and Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that Captain Eli Logisi, also from Kiryat Shmona, was killed by an anti-tank missile in Gaza. Notably, Logisi had been wounded early in the war on Gaza, recovered, and then chose to return to combat, where he ultimately lost his life.

Further complicating the situation, the Israeli army announced the death of an officer from an armored unit in a stabbing attack in Karmiel. Hebrew sources reported that the attack in the Karmiel settlement, located in northern occupied Palestine, resulted in three injuries: one critical, one serious, and one less severe.

The conflict's intensity shows no signs of abating, with significant casualties on both sides. The recent acknowledgments by the Israeli army highlight the dangerous and escalating nature of the clashes in Gaza and the surrounding areas, emphasizing the severe human toll of the ongoing violence.
