Ankara: The Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, discussed with Iranian Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani the developments in the Gaza Strip in a telephone conversation on Sunday.
Turkiye's news agency (Anadolu) said that the two ministers discussed in a telephone conversation the developments in the Gaza Strip and the dangers of the conflict spreading to the regional level.
The Turkish Foreign Minister indicated that the escalation of tension in Lebanon will have negative repercussions on Iraq and Syria.
The two ministers also exchanged views on combating terrorism and bilateral issues in the fields of economy and transportation.
