Zelensky Awarded 481 More Servicemen, 274 Of Them Posthumously


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) President Volodymyr Zelensky has awarded 481 more defenders of Ukraine with state awards, 274 of them posthumously.

According to Ukrinform, the relevant decrees No. 370/2024 and No. 371/2024 of 21 June were published on the President's website.

The awards are for personal courage in the defence of state sovereignty, territorial integrity of Ukraine and selfless performance of military duty.

In particular, the defenders were awarded the Orders of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, Danylo Halytsky, For Courage and medals For Military Service to Ukraine, Defender of the Fatherland and For Saved Life.

As reported by Ukrinform, Zelensky signed decrees on awarding 445 servicemen of the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service, police and the State Emergency Service, 175 of them posthumously.
