Azerbaijan To Submit Its Climate Transparency Report Prior To COP29 - Official

(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 13. Azerbaijan's BiennialTransparency Report (BTR) on climate change will be presentedbefore COP29, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources ofAzerbaijan Umayra Taghiyeva said, Trend reports.

Taghiyeva made the remark at Training workshop on Buildingconfidence and capacity in the preparation of Biennial TransparencyReports within Azerbaijan's chairmanship at COP29 in Baku.

“Azerbaijan's biennial climate change outlook report is beingdeveloped, and will be presented before COP29. This clearlydemonstrates Azerbaijan's commitment to fulfilling its climateobligations," she emphasized.
