“Azerbaijan is the leader of the region in the context ofcontactless payments. The share of NFC payments in Azerbaijan hasexceeded 30 percent, which also confirms the status of a leader inthe region,” he said.

To note, Mastercard is an international payment system thatprovides financial services, including credit, debit, and prepaidcards. It allows its holders to make cashless payments at millionsof points of sale around the world. Mastercard also providestechnology solutions for banks, merchants, and other financialinstitutions. Mastercard cards are accepted in many countries andare used for a variety of transactions, including in-storepurchases, online transactions, ATM cash withdrawals, and otherfinancial transactions.
