(MENAFN) Prince Fahad bin Mansour Al-Saud has been selected as the representative of Saudi Arabia in the G20-Startup20 engagement group, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency. The Startup20 engagement group, established earlier this year during the Indian Presidency of G20 2023, is one of the 11 official networking groups formed to facilitate dialogue and collaboration on various topics.
Expressing his gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their unwavering support to entrepreneurs, Prince Fahad bin Mansour Al-Saud acknowledged the significant impact of this support on the entrepreneurship ecosystem in the Kingdom. He highlighted the accelerated growth witnessed in the national economy as a result of the supportive measures implemented.
Given his extensive experience in entrepreneurship, Prince Fahad bin Mansour Al-Saud was chosen to represent Saudi Arabia in the Startup20 official group summit. He emphasized the importance of Saudi Arabia's participation in this engagement group, stating that the Kingdom is at the forefront of entrepreneurship and plays a crucial role in enabling startups. This aligns with the goals of Vision 2030, which aims to increase the contribution of small and medium enterprises to the country's GDP from 20 percent to 35 percent.
As the Chair of the board of directors of the Saudi Entrepreneurship Vision, Prince Fahad bin Mansour Al-Saud highlighted the significance of the Startup Summit in India. He described it as an opportunity to exchange creative and innovative ideas, establish strategic partnerships, explore investment opportunities, and learn from the experiences of other G20 countries. Additionally, the summit serves as a platform to showcase the projects of Saudi entrepreneurs and promote their contributions to the global entrepreneurial landscape.
