(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, June 3 (KUNA) -- At least 60 "terrorist" militias, connected to Al-Qaeda group, were killed Saturday in two military operations carried out by Somalia's national army in Lower Shabelle Governorate.
The first operation targeted a big vehicle carrying some al-Shabab militias in an area in the governorate, Somali National News Agency (SONNA) reported.
The second operation targeted four vehicles one of which was carrying weapons, it added, adding that the army destroyed all the vehicles. (end)
