Lebanon Arrested 22 Syrians For Attempting To Immigrate Illegally


(MENAFN- Nam News Network) BEIRUT, May 31 (NNN-NNA) – The Lebanese army announced in a statement yesterday, the arrest of 22 Syrians in the northern town of Edbel, for attempting to immigrate illegally by sea.

According to the statement, the army also arrested a Lebanese citizen, who was responsible for planning the Syrians' illegal immigration.

The arrested people were referred to the judiciary for further investigations and other legal procedures, it added.– NNN-NNA
