And for people all around the world, Palestinian artist Nabil Anani has become a grandfather figure, whose paintings of his homeland have graced gallery walls from New York to Tokyo.
At the age of 80, Anani is one of the pioneers of Palestine’s contemporary art movement. His latest solo exhibition, “The Land and I,” is on display at London’s Kristin Hjellegjerde Gallery until April 27.
