Islamic Affairs Ministry Inaugurates Custodian Of The Two Holy Mosques' Gift Programs For Distributing Dates, Quran Copies, And Iftar In Malaysia


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, March 30, 2023, SPA -- The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, represented by the religious attaché at Saudi Arabia's Embassy in Malaysia, inaugurated on Tuesday the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Gift Programs for Distributing Dates, Quran Copies and Iftar at the Ministry of Religious Affairs in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur.
The program launch was attended by the Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister in charge of Religious Affairs Dr. Mohammad Naeem Haj Mukhtar, Deputy Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Malaysia Dr. Salih bin Ali Badawi, Malaysian Director-General of the Department of Islamic Affairs Hakimah bint Mohammad Yusoff, and the Mufti of the Federal Territories of Malaysia, Dr. Luqman Abdullah.
The project aims to provide Iftar for 25,000 people and distribute 25 tons of dates and 50,000 copies of the Quran and its translation produced by the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran in Madinah.
Dr. Mukhtar said cooperation between Malaysia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is very strong and is based on the principles of Quran. He expressed his appreciation for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, for his tremendous efforts to serve Islam and Muslims.
Dr. Badawi said the programs are not limited to Malaysia but extend to different parts of the world under the wise leadership and supervision of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance.
Dr. Abdullah lauded the remarkable efforts of the Kingdom under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince to offer everything that benefit Muslims in the world and contribute to cementing relations between Islamic countries. He also praised the Kingdom's role in benefiting Muslims and bringing them together.
