Doha: The Private Education Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education has launched the nursery school page on the website of the Ministry.
The page (in Arabic and English) includes a number of important sections, which open a window for communication with the general public and parents. The page is now available to all visitors, for information, guidance, and access to the necessary services related to nurseries. Among the most prominent sections of the page are licensing, supervision and control of nurseries, list of nurseries, 'Be Vigilant' initiative, and 'Contact Us' section.
The visitor of the page can view a list of 179 nurseries in the State of Qatar, including a nursery dedicated to receiving children with special needs, and can find out everything related to the required documents and forms related to licensing nurseries. Dr. Rania Mohamed, Director of the Nurseries Department, explained that the page also contains a section dedicated to the 'Be Vigilant' initiative, which aims to eliminate the phenomenon of illegal nurseries, and subject them to legal accountability.
This is in a way that guarantees the safety and security of children enabling to communicate with the nursery administration and report any unlicensed nursery through it.
The page contains a 'Contact Us' section, which aims to open permanent channels of communication with all members of society and parents.
The Ministry of Education and Higher Education urged people to share their feedback about the page for its development, while continuing to add important and valuable information that will benefit the role of the nursery, tips and advice on the importance of this age group and ways to deal with it, in addition to the contributions and achievements of nurseries.
