Lorestan arranges to build 4,300 National Housing Movement units


(MENAFN) As declared by a provincial head, the situation is being arranged for the building of 4,300 units of the National housing Movement in Lorestan district, in the west of Iran.

Reza Payamani, the deputy chief of the Transport and Urban Development Department of the district, stated that out of 147,000 people who have listed in the National Housing Movement up to now, 37,500 candidates were found to be qualified, and 60 percent of the applicants are from Khoram-Abad province.

From the start of the program and in the procedure of different choices, Lorestan's stake stood at 12,415 units, which is going to amount to 49,660 units throughout the four-year strategy, of which building of 1,290 units has begun, he asserted.

At the start of November, a board member of the National Land and Housing Organization declared that around 57,000 hectares of land within the borders of the cities has been supplied for the National Housing Movement program.
