Russian, Belarusian Forces Extend Joint Exercises Until Jan 8 - Monitoring Group
(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The joint training of the armed forces of Russia and Belarus has been prolonged at least until January 8. That's according to the schedule for the Belarusian training grounds, Ukrinform reports with reference to the Telegram channel of the
belarus gayun monitoring group.
It is noted that December 31 and January 1 were days off for some training grounds.
According to the monitoring group, the exercises were resumed until January 6 at the Gozhsky, Brest, and Niman training grounds, until January 7 – at the Borysovsky, Obuz-Lеsnovsky, and until January 8 – at the Osipovichi, Domanova, and Lepelsky sites.

At the same time, it is emphasized that 'the Belarusian army has become more prepared for defensive operations, but it is still not ready for a large-scale offensive due to the lack of real combat experience.'
As of December 29, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there were 11,000 Russian troops and more than 400 units of Russian military equipment deployed at the Belarusian training grounds.
