Ukrainian President Meets With Italian Defense Minister
(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The situation in Ukraine remains very important to Italy, and Italian partners support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Ukrainian state.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this after a meeting with Italian Defense Minister Lorenzo Guerini, Ukrinform reports, citing the Telegram channel of the head of state.
'For Italy, despite many internal issues, the situation in Ukraine remains very important. We feel the constant support for our sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as for the struggle for our existence, from Prime Minister Mario Draghi, the government, and the Italian people,' he said.
Zelensky thanked Guerini for the 'meaningful meeting,' stressing that the strengthening of the Armed Forces is a vital priority for Ukraine today.
