Sekola was introduced to the public as a new DC member in Makhaleng constituency where he was officially welcomed by the women's league president, Likeleli Tampane.

Speaking at the welcoming event, Sekola who was fully dressed in the DC regalia, said his wish is for the Makhaleng constituency to return to the DC.
