National Fuel Pass Open Again For New Registrations
August 8 (NewsWire) – The National Fuel Pass QR system is open for new registrations again, Minister of Energy Kanchana Wijesekera announced today.
In a Twitter message, the Minister said the Department of Motor Vehicles has concluded its scheduled maintenance work.

ADVERTISEMENTHe further said that thereby, the system is now available for new registrations again.
On Friday, the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) announced that new registrations will be disabled for a period of 48 hours.
Issuing a special notice on Twitter, the ICTA said the registration process is to be disabled due to planned maintenance by the Department of Motor Traffic.
At the time, Minister Kanchana Wijesekera clarified that existing registered users will have no impact on using the system during this period.
Following the completion of the planned maintenance work, the National Fuel Pass QR system is open for new registrations.
