
Qatar Attends Amman International Exhibition For Coins And Stamps
The 4th Amman International Exhibition for Coins and Stamps kicked off on Thursday with the attendance of a host of coin and stamp enthusiasts from Qatar, the Gulf and Arab countries.
The three-day conference intends to create a state of convergence between stamp and coin collectors at the local, Arab and international levels.
In a statement to QNA, Hussain Rajab al-Ismail, member of the Youth Hobbies Centre's executive committee and head of the centre's stamps and coins department, said that a plethora of coin and stamp enthusiasts from Qatar attended the inaugural ceremony of the exhibition and met with similar enthusiasts from Gulf and Arab nations. He pointed out that holding such events represents a convergence platform for the entire coin and stamp collectors who are keen to share experiences and knowledge.
He added that the key objective of attending the event is to get familiarised with the displayed stamps and coins that are patently emulating an era of time for the Gulf and Arab countries, in addition to acquiring rare coins and currencies.
