FM: Iran will negotiate until reasonable solution is reached

(MENAFN) Hossein Amirabdollahian, Iran's Foreign Minister, stated on Thursday that Iran is serious about achieving a good, robust, and durable deal, and that if the US is realistic, an agreement is achievable.

On Thursday, Iran's top diplomat, Hossein Amirabdollahian, spoke by phone with Qatar's foreign minister, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.

The two parties discussed the latest advances in the current Doha round of sanctions talks.
Amirabdollahian congratulated Qatar for hosting the Doha discussions, saying that Iran saw the most recent session of talks in Doha as constructive.

He highlighted that Iran is serious about obtaining a good, robust, and long-term agreement, and that striking an agreement is achievable if the US is realistic.

He emphasized that Iran's lead negotiator is constantly taking the initiative and on the route to an acceptable agreement, and that they are committed to continue negotiating until they achieve a viable agreement.
