OIC Condemns Attack Against Churchgoers In Southwest Nigeria
(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Jeddah, June 08, 2022, SPA -- The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned in the strongest terms the brutal attack on churchgoers, in the Southwest region of Nigeria, on Sunday 05 June, 2022, killing at least 50 people including women and children and injuring many others.
The OIC Secretary General, Hissein Brahim Taha, offered heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families of the victims and his wishes for prompt recovery to the wounded. He also reaffirmed that the OIC stands in unison with Nigeria in its fight against extremism and violence.
