Work on filling in questionnaire for EU candidate status almost complete - Zelensky

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukrainian government officials have almost completed filling in the questionnaire for EU candidate status.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in his video address to the nation on Friday evening, Ukrinform reports.

“We also discussed with government officials the work on filling in the questionnaire that Ukraine received from President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. This is a necessary stage in our country preparations for becoming a candidate for EU membership. The work is almost complete, and we will soon provide the answers to the representatives of the European Union,” he said.

As Ukrinform reported, during a visit to Kyiv on April 8, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen handed over to President Volodymyr Zelensky a questionnaire for EU candidate status.
