Panama Covid-19 cases on a downward trend

Covid-19 cases in Panama continue to decline with the health Ministry (Minsa) reporting on Monday, February 7, 1,614 new infections in the previous 24 hours.

According to the ministry report, 8,099 tests were applied for positivity of 19.9%.

13 deaths have been reported and three from previous dates have been updated for a total of 7,860 deaths and lethality of 1.1%.

Active cases dropped to 36,499, of which 656 are hospitalized 577 in the ward, and 79 in ICU.
