Pakistan strongly condemns Houthi attempted missile attack on the UAE

ISLAMABAD, 1st February, 2022 (WAM) -- Pakistan has strongly condemned the launching of missile from Al-Jawf, Yemen, by the Houthis towards the United Arab Emirates and called for their immediate cessation.
'We consider these attacks as a grave violation of international law and a serious threat to regional peace and security,' said a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Office of the Spokesperson.
Pakistan reaffirmed its solidarity with the brotherly people and government of the United Arab Emirates, and also commended that the missile was successfully intercepted by the air defence system of the UAE, preventing loss of innocent lives, the statement concluded.
