Ramallah: The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates called for a broad international campaign to bring justice to the Palestinian victims and to punish Israeli officials and the official Israeli institution, which continues to conceal and cover up the crimes and massacres committed against the Palestinian people. It was commenting on what was published by Haaretz newspaper regarding locating the mass grave of the Tantura martyrs who were executed by Israeli gangs in 1948.

Yesterday, Haaretz newspaper revealed a mass grave of Palestinians, who were martyred in the 1948 war, on the beach of Caesarea, northern occupied Palestine, explaining the occurrence of mass killings of Palestinians, after the surrender of the village of Tantura (south of Haifa) in the year of the Palestinian Nakba. About 200 Palestinians were buried, after their execution, in a mass grave.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry said in a press statement today, that facts and evidence are revealing day after day about massacres and crimes committed by gangs against unarmed and safe Palestinian civilians inside their homes in Palestinian cities, towns and villages before 1948 and even after the declaration of the establishment of Israel, these massacres are documented by live testimonies of the participants who are still alive or their testimonies were recorded by various means, whether in documented interviews, books and documentary narrative accounts.

It pointed out that these facts, which are constantly unfolding, come despite the attempts to obscure them by successive Israeli governments to bury the truth of the crimes and massacres of those gangs and to prevent the publication of available and documented information about those crimes, noting that the leaders responsible for committing them held high positions in the occupation army and in various official Israeli institutions. It stressed that the crimes of the occupation did not stop in 1948, but are still continuing in a hateful racist manner, noting that investigations into these crimes should be opened as well as the formation of an independent international investigation committee.(QNA) The Palestinian Foreign Ministry said in a press statement today, that facts and evidence are revealing day after day about massacres and crimes committed by gangs against defenseless Palestinian civilians who are safe inside their homes in Palestinian cities, towns and villages before 1948 and even after the declaration of the establishment of Israel.
