Al Safadi Marks 50TH Uae National Day By Supporting Dubai Cares

(MENAFN- Weber Shandwick) Dubai, United Arab Emirates, November 2021; To mark the UAE’s 50th National Day, Al Safadi, the well-known chain of Lebanese restaurants in Dubai, has announced that it will donate 50% of all proceeds from its four venues in Dubai on 2nd December 2021 to Dubai Cares, part of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives. Al Safadi is hugely popular for its authentic and flavoursome Lebanese dishes ranging from breakfast through to dinner.
The initiative comes as part of the Mr. Fadi Al Safadi, the restaurant chain founder’s strong belief in giving back to the community as a mark of gratitude for all the opportunities he had received when he founded the company in 2000. By visiting the restaurant on this day, guests can make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate, with half of the proceeds from the restaurant’s sales to be directed towards Dubai Cares’ various educational programs that aim to empower children and youth in developing countries with access to quality education.

In 2007, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai initiated a charity drive inviting the UAE community to help raise funds to provide education to 1 million underprivileged children in developing countries Since then, the campaign has become a global movement that is working towards advocating for global education transformation. To date, Dubai Cares’ programs have reached over 20 million beneficiaries in 60 developing countries.
