Israeli soldiers kill 2 Palestinians in West Bank
(MENAFN) Palestinian sources stated that on Thursday, Sep. 30 two Palestinians, comprising a woman from the West Bank, were confirmed killed by Israeli soldiers in two different clashes.
Palestinian medics and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) reported that Alaa Zayoud, aged 22, was assassinated by Israeli soldiers in confrontations in the village of Burqin close to the city of Jenin in northern West Bank.
Fighting erupted in the village between Palestinian young men and Israeli soldiers after an Israeli army force attacked the village early on Thursday to capture two Palestinians for conducting assaults against Israel.
The attack was in the course of Israel's strategy to break up a military network that belongs to the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
