Turkish Cultural Center offers new language course

(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: The Turkish Cultural Center in Doha (Younis Emre) announced that new courses on Turkish language in person and remotely via the Zoom platform will resume on September 19. 

The courses which will be held between September 19 and December 9, include a total of 72 hours for the first semester and will be open for all ages. 

The courses will be held at the center and the Turkish School in Doha and will apply the best method of teaching the Turkish language and under the supervision of highly qualified and experienced teachers.

Director of the Turkish Cultural Center in Doha (Yunus Emre), Dr. Selcuk Kursad Koca, said that the courses will adhere to all precautionary and safety measures introduced by the Ministry of Public Health to curb spread of COVID- 19.

Dr. Selcuk said that the date for the placement test set at 1pm on Monday, September 13, noting that the Turkish language courses for the fall of 2021 will be for ages 15 and above and will be held at the center's headquarters and at the Turkish school. 

In addition to the courses for children aged from six to 14 years old, which will be held in the Turkish school only, Selcuk explained that the center is continuing to use the Zoom platform, in conjunction with the launch of in-person courses and at the same time, in line with preventive measures to avoid infection with the COVID-19, indicating that the Zoom courses will start for adults and children, from September 19 to December 9,.

The Director pointed out that the center keeps pace with the continuous developments to facilitate the educational process, develop the students' skills and develop their levels. He added that holding these courses comes at the forefront of the activities and events organized by the center to spread the Turkish culture and language, as learning of Turkish language is witnessing an increasing demand from different levels and age groups.
